The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $52,000 to $71,300 an hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
What You Will Do in This Role:
- Supervise inbound products for expedited stock and ensure to expedited accordingly.
- Assist the Receiving Supervisor in ensuring all products are received.
- Assist the Receiving Supervisor in leading the team.
- Supervise all unreleased deliveries to assist in resolution, so product can be shipped.
- Supervise all rush/must-ship orders and ensure shipping guidelines are met.
- Assist with required stock verification needed prior to a delivery being built.
- Identify and communicate any picks that are not completed timely manner to Shipping Supervisors.
- Assist employees in following outbound shipping requirements for customers and eliminate any delays.
- Communicate crafting/special packaging needs by order/item and ensure accurate guidelines are followed.
- Supervise all deliveries to ensure timely shipping.
- Ensure tracking is entered for all shipments.
- Log all expedited deliveries and communicate tracking or issues to the corporate office.
- Support the Shipping Supervisor in distributing picking assignments to improve efficiencies.
- Investigate root causes and corrective actions for any customer service failures involving the timeliness of shipments.
- Apply MS Office, Outlook, Excel, SAP, and other programs as needed.
- Optimally tackle other duties as assigned/vital.
- Able to operate forklifts.
What We Are Looking For:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to function in an office/shop environment.
- Must be able to work an occasional weekend.
- Demonstrate knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures for supervised work group(s).
- Demonstrates understanding and application of supervisory approaches for work direction, motivation, performance management, and disciplinary action.
- Up to 3 years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge as presented above.
