The details
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm CST
- Compensation: $24/hr
What you'll do
You will oversee all aspects of the inbound operations at our warehouse; ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and top-notch quality control.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the receipt, stocking, and inventory of products to maintain seamless operations.
- Researching invoice discrepancies, put-away errors and any cycle count opportunities.
- Overseeing pick shelf replenishment and customer returns processes.
- Leading, training, and mentoring a high-performing team.
- Conducting one-on-one meetings to deliver performance feedback.
- Providing your team with coachings to optimize their individual performance.
- Holding your team accountable to our attendance standards.
- Maintaining performance metrics and driving continuous improvements in the department.
- Using a forklift to store and move inventory as needed.
- Ensuring machinery in the receiving department is operational and safe.
- Driving process improvements to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
- Assisting other departments as needed to support overall business goals.
- Responsible for department KPI’s and outcomes
- Conducting consumable inventory counts weekly and reporting results to purchasing team
What you'll need
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Proven leadership experience in inbound/receiving operations within a distribution center
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with associates and leadership.
- Proficiency in basic Windows applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining inventory accuracy and quality control.
- Ability to coach and mentor team members to achieve high performance.
- Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience maintaining and operating machinery to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Adaptability to support cross-departmental needs and overall business goals.
- Stand for an entire shift and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to become certified on forklift.
