Position: Receiving
Specialist

Primary Responsibilities:
(guest interaction, ordering
responsibilities, clean up duties, clerical responsibilities, etc.)
· Log and sign for daily shipments
· Validate shipment received (styles and
quantities)
· Inspect for damages, unauthorized shipments
· Enter data into computer system
· Prepare data analysis
· Print price tags for merchandise
· Take physical inventory of warehouse and shop
items
· Keep area clean and organized
Secondary Responsibilities:
· Tag merchandise with barcode
· Handle shipping for guests and shops
· Deliver merchandise to store locations
· Assist other purchasing personnel with special
projects
Normal Working Hours: (Shift, days)
· 8:00am - 4:30pm. Saturdays and Sundays may be
required

Past Work Experience Requirements: (Type of
work, number of years required, equivalent experience, etc.)
· 2 or more years in retail shop and/or warehouse
environment preferred
Educational Requirements: (Degree/Certification, highest
required/preferred, field of study)
· High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
· Business training preferred
Communication Skills Requirements: (Verbal:
phone, in-person, group; Written: memos, documents)
· Able to communicate professionally and
effectively with guests by phone as well as with co-workers and vendors by
phone and in person in a thorough and positive manner.
Technical Requirements:
· Aptitude for math
· Valid driver’s license required during
probationary period
· Ability to successfully complete forklift
training
