The compensation target range for this role is:
$21.00Job Summary
This role is for Thursday - Saturday, 7:00a - 7:30p. This position objective will be to manage the receiving process by Inspection, recording and unloading products supporting our Purple manufacturing. This individual will coordinate with warehouse manager and purchasing in the development of lean efficient receiving practices.Job DescriptionEssential Duties & Responsibilities:

Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer
-
Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors

Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in receiving area
-
Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment
-
Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations
-
Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location
-
Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment
-
Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors
-
Transfer of damaged or defective items or return them to designate areas
Required Skills, Education, Experience:
-
Drive forklift in order to pick up incoming stock or to deliver parts to designated locations
-
Maintain records of inventories, shortages, shipments and good used or issued
-
Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions
-
Confer with engineering and purchasing personnel and vendors regarding stock procurement and availability

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
-
Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment.

Work Hours (Good Faith Estimate):
This full-time position is expected to work approximately 30-40 hours per week. This is a good faith estimate, and actual hours may vary based on business needs.
