As the ReBird Team Leader, you are responsible for leading the daily activities of the repair team, ensuring that team members can effectively and efficiently repair customer garments while maintaining a consistent level of quality.

The ReBIRD team is constantly looking for new ways to extract more use out of our products and how to process more of it. Be a part of the initiative that is keeping as much of our gear in the field and not the landfill.
If you were the ReBird Team Leader now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- You lead and motivate the team, including but not limited to, communicating objectives, and planning efficient distribution of work to each team member with an open and positive culture
- You ensure repairs are completed within an agreed repair turnaround time
- You repair products when necessary
- You ensure and maintain Arc’teryx standards of quality
- You communicate internally of problems related to repairs
- You continue to develop Arc’teryx product and technical knowledge, and help innovate new repair techniques and processes
- You help plan and prepare workload processes
- You ensure that relevant KPI’s are set, communicated, and achieved on a regular basis and proactively address issues and concerns for your team
- You promote a clean and safe working environment and perform other duties and special projects as assigned
- You report to the Supervisor, Repair & Care when additional resources are required such as equipment needs, repair, maintenance, or adjustment
- Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned

- You lead a strong, effective, positive, and high-performing team focusing on timely feedback of performance, enabling and empowering team members to improve and cross-train as needed
- You coach leaders to effectively plan and allocate resources, lead and mentor operators, and monitor repair turnaround time
- You coordinate proper training for new and existing employees to nurture new talents and strengthen skill level and foster a collaborative team base environment which promotes knowledge sharing and cross training of skills.

- You have 3+ years’ experience in an apparel repair/construction role
- You have strong attention to detail
- You have strong English verbal and written communication skills
- You have strong organizational and problem solving skills

Arc’teryx is a global design company based in North Vancouver, B.C. that specializes in technical high-performance outerwear and equipment. We design and manufacture a wide range of mountain sports outdoor apparel and equipment for all conditions and experiences, including mountaineering, ice and rock climbing, skiing, snowboarding, and trail running.
Our company is built on a passionate and relentless commitment to design, craftsmanship and performance. We have a unique construction process that enables us to create technical products that can be trusted to perform at the point of extreme need. We are uniquely positioned in our industry as we have our own factory located in New Westminster, BC, which enables us to build products with a meticulous focus on detail and performance. We leverage this manufacturing knowledge and share it with our global partner factories.
In the Coast Mountain Range behind our headquarters and design centre in North Vancouver, we field test our products in real world conditions allowing us to create the best-fitting, longest-lasting, highest-performing technical products available. We distribute our outerwear and equipment through more than 3,000 retail locations worldwide, in over 40 countries globally, including 38 branded and outlet stores in Europe, North America and Asia.
