The Chief Accounting Office (CAO) organization is responsible for all accounting and the related compliance and reporting of Intel globally. The Global Process Owner (GPO) team within CAO’s Revenue and Rebates Accounting Operations collaborates closely with Sales and Finance partners, supporting strategic goals like SAP S4 implementation, V4 rebate standardization, and streamlined business practices.

We seek an experienced manager to lead a global initiative standardizing rebate processes, tools, and governance. You will consider end-to-end design when implement, and sustain global rebate accounting practices, ensuring compliance and scalable, efficient operations. This role blends technical expertise in rebate accounting and systems with strong people management, guiding teams through change and ambiguity, and partnering across Accounting, Operations, IT, and Finance to deliver impactful results.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Process and Tool Leadership: Define and execute a global roadmap for rebate process and tool standardization. Identify deal structures and payment practices that conflict with standards or tools, and drive enterprise-level decisions through solution options including contract changes, process adoption, tool enhancements, and risk-managed manual mitigations. Recommend strategies balancing cost, scalability, and financial integrity with long-term business goals.
  • People and Program Management: Lead, mentor, and develop process leads and subject matter experts. Set priorities, performance expectations, and growth plans to build sustainable rebate process expertise. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Provide project oversight for large-scale transitions, align models, and adapt roadmaps and resources as business needs change. Communicate and manage risks, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Stakeholder Influence and Controls: Represent the Global Rebate Accounting Standard Practices (GRASP) organization in governance forums. Translate complex accounting and technical matters into actionable, clear recommendations for senior leaders. Drive alignment across stakeholders, balancing priorities and considering financial, operational, and system impacts. Partner with CAO Rebate Execution teams to shape close strategy as tools and processes evolve, optimize controls, reporting, and analytics, lead control assessments, and uphold SOX compliance and audit readiness.

Qualifications:

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel's immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or rebate management, including 3+ years in a managerial or people lead role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's or MBA preferred
  • Intel pricing experience
  • Proficiency in SOX compliance, US GAAP, and rebate accounting standards.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and financial reporting tools.
  • Experience leading global, cross functional process or systems transformations.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $138,820.00-234,200.00 USD

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Work Model for this Role
