The Role: It's an exciting time for us - Market Data collect, store and distribute financial data from over 250 exchanges globally in real time and we are at the early stages of our journey to moving functions and services that facilitate this to cloud.
You'll be joining a team of four responsible for supporting APAC and select EMEA support functions of our legacy application stack and incoming new platforms. Reporting in to London management, you'll be working closely with London based Ops and as directed by the London Team Lead.
You will be responsible for monitoring the Market Data application stack and infrastructure, leveraging your skills to develop solutions for disparate technical challenges, while collaborating with other Morningstar teams and 3rd party vendors to investigate and address issues.
We need you to use your existing technical expertise to directly contribute to infrastructure and monitoring projects, including cloud migration initiatives. You'll have direct influence and contribution to the improvement of existing Ops tooling - the design and implementation of new tooling, automation and processes is also firmly within your remit.
It's fantastic opportunity to join and grow with us as we incorporate new technologies into our application layer and deliver architecture transformations.

You may also find shifts coincide with Public/Bank Holidays and occasional weekend work may also be necessary.
Responsibilities:

- Act as a point of technical escalation for junior members of the team.
- Model best practice, act as a mentor and point of escalation in areas of your technical strengths
