Job Title: React UI Developer / Senior React Engineer (AI‑Integrated Frontend), AVP
Location: Pune, India
Role Description
The React UI Developer is responsible for designing and implementing high‑performance, scalable, and user‑centric frontend applications using React and modern JavaScript frameworks. This role requires close collaboration with backend, data, and AI/ML teams to build interactive interfaces that consume machine learning models, real‑time predictions, and AI‑driven insights. The developer may mentor junior engineers, participate in architectural discussions, and help define standards for AI‑enabled UI/UX components across the platform.

Your key responsibilities
Core UI Responsibilities
- Develop highly responsive, reusable, and accessible UI components using React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+).
- Implement pixel‑perfect, responsive UI screens based on UX designs and product specifications.
- Optimize front-end applications for performance, scalability, and cross‑browser compatibility.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs, GraphQL, and microservices.
- Build reusable UI modules and evolve shared component libraries/design systems.
- Work with QA to automate UI testing and ensure high-quality releases.
- Troubleshoot production UI issues and provide L3 support when needed.
AI‑Integration Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Data Science/MLOps teams to integrate AI/ML models into the frontend for real‑time prediction, personalization, or analytics.
- Build interactive UI components that consume AI inference APIs, streaming outputs, or model‑generated insights.
- Implement AI‑assisted user experience features, such as recommendations, smart search, chat interfaces, predictive suggestions, anomaly alerts, etc.
- Handle model response visualization: charts, confidence scores, explainability outputs, and model decision indicators.
- Work with backend teams to design efficient data flows enabling seamless AI‑powered interactions.
- Ensure low‑latency rendering of model outputs using React performance optimization strategies.
- Build reactive, event‑driven UI experiences powered by WebSockets, Kafka streams, or real‑time inference endpoints.
- Collaborate with UX designers to create intuitive workflows for AI features.
- Work on AI feature observability, adding UI-level logs and user interaction tracking.
- Ensure compliance with ethical AI guidelines and responsible presentation of ML‑generated results.
Your skills and experience
- Strong experience with React.js, Hooks, Context API, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience integrating frontends with AI/ML APIs or data‑driven interfaces.
- Strong foundation in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, responsive design, and accessibility.
- Experience with Redux/Redux Toolkit or other state‑management frameworks.
- Familiarity with Next.js, React Query, or similar frameworks.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, streaming APIs.
- Exposure to testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress.
- Experience with Agile/DevOps, Git, Jenkins, Jira.
- Bonus: experience with visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, Recharts).
