Does this sound like you?

You’re a React Native Engineer, ideally with 4+ years’ experience, who’s excited to forge a new way to save. You’ll have delivered on large scale projects of work, and will be excited about producing and maintaining high quality systems, including system design and architecture. You work in partnership with relevant teams across an organisation to identify how technology can solve business challenges and will be capable of answering “how and why” technology is designed and delivered.

What you’ll do:

As a React Native Engineer, you will play an active role in an Agile software team, fostering best practice to ensure software quality. Applying hands on experience with React Native, and through working collaboratively, you will get to work on new features and deliver a high quality, resilient application. You will always look to help improve the software engineering processes and practices, and to influence the software architecture.

What you’ll bring:

We’re looking for candidates with a mix of the following skills, but you don’t need to tick every box:

• Proficiency in React Native  – with experience building production apps
• Experience in TypeScript – writing clean, maintainable code
• Testing know-how – experience with tools like Jest, React Testing Library, and Detox or Maestro.
• State management expertise – familiarity with Redux, RTK Query, or similar
• Storybook experience – you understand the value of building and testing components in isolation.
• Expo familiarity – you’re comfortable using Expo and its suite of tools.
• Monorepo knowledge – experience with tools like Nx and working in a monorepo environment.
• Emotional intelligence – you actively listen and provide thoughtful solutions.
• Proactivity – and the ability to demonstrate initiative positively and collaboratively
• Excellent verbal and written communication – with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
