React.js Lead - Bangalore, India

Role Overview:

As a Lead React.js Developer, you will be responsible for guiding the development team, architecting scalable and high-performance web applications, and ensuring the implementation of best practices in React.js development. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional user experiences and maintain a high standard of code quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of React.js developers, providing guidance on best practices, code reviews, and technical problem-solving.
• Architecture & Design: Architect and design scalable, maintainable, and high-performance web applications using React.js, Redux, and related technologies.
• Code Quality: Ensure code quality through regular reviews, automated testing, and adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business goals.
• Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and improve development processes.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal application performance and responsiveness.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for code, architecture, and development processes.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in front-end development with a focus on React.js, including at least 2 years in a lead or senior developer role.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React.js, Redux, HTML5, CSS3, and related front-end technologies. Experience with TypeScript is a plus.
• Leadership: Proven experience leading development teams, with a strong ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Experience working in Agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio of previous projects or contributions to open-source projects demonstrating your expertise in React.js development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Skills: Experience with server-side rendering (SSR), Next.js, or other related frameworks.
• Testing: Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools such as Jest, Enzyme, or React Testing Library.
• CI/CD: Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Design: Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and tools such as Figma or Sketch.
