ReactJS Developer

We are looking for a ReactJS Developer to join our small, yet highly skilled team of IT professionals and make an impact on the future of the financial services industry. You will be part of Geowealth’s Front-End Team and you’ll build features, screens and reusable components for Geowealth’s web-based advisor platform. You will use your ReactJS skills to create a modern, robust and well-architectured web app, that will help both financial advisors and end customers track their investments.
Role and responsibilities:
- Build and support Geowealth’s web app using JavaScript and ReactJS
- Develop components and libraries that are reusable and future-proof, integrate with server-side RESTful APIs
- Use UI/UX designs or wireframes to create the respective code and the app components
- Use your knowledge on React and its lifecycle to maximize components performance across different devices and browsers
- Analyze requirements, identify gaps and refine the scope of the given tasks and features
- Break down larger tasks and prioritize sub tasks pro-actively, work independently, receive assistance from the team lead for highly-complex tasks
- Collaborate with the broader team, participate in discussions for feasibility, scope, risks and estimations
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices
Our requirements:
- Core:
- At least 4/5 years of experience building web apps with ReactJS and Redux
- Experience with state managers Redux/Zustand
- Experience with HTML5/CSS3
- Good understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, good algorithmic skills
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Good understanding of software methodologies, tools, and processes, experience with Jira, Confluence, Git.
- Good communication skills
- Desirable:
- Experience working with CSS pre-processors such as SASS or LESS
- Financial services experience and/or knowledge.
