React Frontend Engineer (Sofia & Remote, Bulgaria)

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Frontend Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for building modern, high-performance web applications using React and Next.js, with a strong focus on clean architecture, usability, and maintainability.
 

• Develop and maintain frontend applications using React and Next.js
• Write clean, well-structured, and type-safe code using TypeScript
• Implement responsive and accessible user interfaces with MUI (Material UI)
• Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX designs into high-quality code
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs
• Work with containerized applications and deployments in Kubernetes
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and usability
   

• Strong experience with React and Next.js
• Solid knowledge of TypeScript
• Experience with MUI (Material UI) or similar component libraries
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes and cloud-native environments
• Familiarity with modern frontend tooling and workflows
• Experience working with REST or GraphQL APIs
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
   

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Docker and containerized environments
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. Jest, Playwright, Cypress)
• Understanding of performance optimization and SEO in Next.js
