As a React Developer, you will be a key contributor, designing and building the responsive web interfaces and experiences that our retail partners rely on daily. We own our products from ideation to release and operate in a fast-paced, agile environment. We don't just write code; we live by our mantra to "Question every requirement!" to ensure we build the right things, the right way. 

We are looking for a collaborative and curious engineer who is passionate about building intuitive, performant user experiences. If you're excited by technical challenges and want to see your work make a tangible impact, this is the team for you. Experience using AI coding assistants and an understanding of prompt engineering would be a strong asset.

• Experience developing, releasing, and maintaining Next.js and React applications with Typescript.
• Solid understanding of ES6, JSX, and Node.
• Mastery of HTML5, CSS3 and Styled components.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, design patterns, testing, and debugging.
• Deep familiarity with debugging, performance measurement, and test-driven development
• Experience with React Testing library and Jest.
• Experience managing application state with Redux and XState
• Experience building large scale responsive web applications.
• Solid understanding of REST principles and exposure to backend APIs.
• Solid understanding of Version Control (Git) and related tools such as Github.
• Experience with agile processes (continuous development, delivery, and improvement).
• Familiarity with CI/CD best practices and tools.
• Understanding of Websockets.

• Expert Frontend Development: Solid knowledge of Next.js/React, TypeScript, and hooks, complemented by familiarity with essential tools like Webpack, Babel, and Yarn.
• Architectural & State Management Expertise: Experience with or familiarity in Functional Programming, Redux, XState, and patterns for building scalable and maintainable applications.
• CSS & Styling Proficiency: Competence in modern styling techniques, including SASS/SCSS, CSS-in-JS, or Styled Components.
• Data & API Integration: Skills in working with GraphQL, SQL, and integrating with services like Strapi/headless CMS, Google Analytics, and Snowplow events.
• Quality & Operational Standards: Commitment to Unit Tests and Code Reviews; experience with E2E testing; and a focus on high availability, scalability, and security standards.
• Cloud & Backend Familiarity: Knowledge of AWS cloud services and tools, along with familiarity in backend technologies like Java and working with Content Management Systems.
• High-Impact Professional Attributes: Ability to deliver best patterns and practices while taking ownership of work, moving quickly, managing risk, and demonstrating excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
