Warehouse Associate I Responsibilities:
- Acquire knowledge regarding a clean and safe working environment, safety, security, company and 6S standards in the distribution center
- Perform assigned warehouse tasks utilizing standard work and policies in order to ensure highest levels of safety and quality
- Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner in order ensure little to no accidents
- Follow all visual aids with the distribution center in order maximize safety, quality, and productivity
- Contribute process suggestions in order to continuously improve warehouse operations
- Identify deviations in the process and immediately notify supervisor in order to correct issue
- Fully contribute in continuous improvement events to improve operations
- Report company equipment and infrastructure damage to ensure repairs occur in order to minimize safety risk
- This position requires regular and predictable on-site attendance and the ability to work the particular shift and/or schedule to which you are assigned, as well as additional hours as needed.
- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams
- Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
Warehouse Associate I Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent or equivalent experience
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to Read and Write in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit up
- Ability to use hand to finger, handle, or feel
- Ability to climb or balance
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to talk or hear
