We are looking for our new R&D Specification Specialist M/F/X.
You will provide support to R&D team in implementing a new Product Management Platform in appetizer and will be involved in every step of project development .
Your role will be to support the harmonization of data system in the context of a global strategy on implementation system project, including change management to manage and support.
You will be at the heart of development by providing quality documentation and data in the system in line with European regulation. You will participate in the project work stream for all activities related to data preparation data extraction, cleaning transformation validation and system testing, data reporting and training new users.
You will set up product description in the system, you will enter data available in different places, you will check the existence of data and coherence between systems. In the end you will support the organization by switching to a new specification system and to have specification of high quality for the entire portfolio.
You will also work closely with a cross-functional team and provide support to R&D team on the current tools and processes maintenance until the implementation of the new platform is complete.
It is a transversal role at EMENA level, with some connection at global level, you could be exposed to senior leaders for some presentations. This role involves collaboration between different departments, so you'll be working with the quality or marketing teams, for example. We are looking for someone autonomous and who can handle constructive pressure
This is a short-term contract, and your main office will be in Rilland, Netherlands, with some travels in France.
Key responsibilities :
Data work

• You will fill data in load files (from word/excel/spec system source to excel)
• With rigor, you will check data within files (does the value/data contained in one cell matches de data contained in the source document)
• You will fill data related to enhancements/additional requirements (Good collaboration skills needed to find the missing data from other departments in the company)
• Once loaded in the system, you will check that the values from the cells within the excel file have been loaded in the right place in the system for the right specifications

System Testing

• Based on the knowledge related to products/ingredients/packagings acquired during the data load work, you will take part in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to check the functionalities, the enhancements, the workflows...

Data reporting

• You will manage the creation of new reports to answer McCain needs based on existing McCain PLM reports and on any specific additional requirements.

Data entry

• You're in charge of the maintenance of the current specification tool by doing some punctual data entry to support the R&D team during the transition phase.

Qualifications:

• You have first experience with product lifecycle management tool in Food Industry
• You have food industries knowledge /background, you like work on data, master file and system.
• You are keen of supporting change, you are flexible and agile with multiple stakeholders.
• You have strong communication skills, with both technical / non-technical and are able to communicate technical matters as they relate to the specification database.
• You identify gaps and risks, escalate for resolution
• You are self-motivated, analytical and solution oriented.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• You are fluent in English and have Dutsh notions; French is a plus.
