Job Description:
The successful candidate will work closely with the design, integration, test and qualification engineers to develop cutting edge technologies for high performance RF Switches and Filters used in wireless front-end modules. We are seeking expertise in supporting engineering activities related to development of test setups, design, modeling, and characterization of SOI and FBAR/SAW devices. Your daily responsibilities include development of new RF characterization setups and automation tools to evaluate RF switches, resonators, filters and front-end modules for high-power, nonlinear, and noise performance characterization. As a highly skilled RF engineer, you will be participating in R&D activities to implement characterization and qualification plans, reviewing test results, generating reports, and providing feedback to our global design, quality and processing teams. You’ll consistently work on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues.
Required Skills:
- Masters degree in Engineering and 6+ years of with related experience in RF filters and switches or PhD degree in Engineering with 3+ related experience in RF filters and switches
- In-depth proficiency in RF/EM engineering and semiconductor physics.
- Expertise with RF modeling tools such as ADS, HFSS, Cadence and Allegro SiP.
- Experience with finite element modeling: piezoelectric, acoustics, thermo-mechanical, and RF domains.
- PCB and die layout design and modeling experience is desired.
- Strong understanding of small-signal linear, nonlinear, harmonics, intermodulation, high-power RF, and noise measurement concepts.
- Knowledge and hands on experience with RF test equipment: spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, function generators, power meters, DC supplies, oscilloscope, multi-meters, load-pull systems, and probe stations, working with RF components such as couplers, filters, duplexers, amplifiers, and isolators.
- Programming skills using Python, MATLAB is required.
- Test and instrumentation automation experience is desired.
- Proficiency in trouble shooting of test bench and RF equipment.
- Excellent organizational skills, accountability, ownership, and team-oriented attitude.

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $119,000 - $190,000.
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
