R&D Project Manager

PERMANENT ROLE – GERMANY

YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE COMPANY'S SUCCESS

IN COLLABORATION WITH THE PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, HERE'S THE ROLE YOU'LL BE PLAYING:

  • Development of new and further development of existing products in cooperation with the sales departments and the technical management

  • Support of purchasing department in technical questions when procuring new raw materials

  • Proactive search for new raw materials and processing techniques

  • Accompaniment of raw material tests (fibers/fabric) in production incl. approval procedure in coordination with the quality manager and the technical management

  • Support of sales in technical questions regarding producibility of new products and the possible optimization of existing products

  • Support of sales in technical questions during customer visits and product development negotiations with the customers

  • Execution of all other tasks related to product development

  • Support of the technical management in plant and process optimization increase in productivity and product quality

  • Support of the management in strategic alignment of the product portfolio

  • Participation in trade fairs

Do you have the profile we are looking for?

-Academic background in a technical or engineering field (chemistry, engineering, materials specialization) combined with experience in product development.

- Have a good spirit of collaboration, innovation, creativity and analysis of multiple and complex data;

- An interest in technical and scientific subjects;

- Fluency in English (advanced level);

- Knowledge of project management and Design of Experiment (DOE) techniques (an asset).
