- Strategize and develop executable test plan to meet project achievements.
- Develop test concepts and test cases based on the product requirements and specification to verify the compliance of product functionalities, performances, qualities and reliabilities.
- Execute engineering tests, verification tests, characterizations, cyclic and reliability tests as developed and derived in the test cases.
- Co-develop hardware test jig and fixtures with R&D designer and vendors
- Lead test result reviews with partner, compile and write test report.
- Handle test documentation to meet process compliance and audit need.
- Investigate failure, verify issues, drive debug and propose resolution of exciting issues to ensure successful release of products.
- Communicate and collaborate with diverse and global teams (PM, Marketing/internal customers, Mechanical engineers, Application engineer, Hardware engineer, Firmware, Software engineer, production engineer and etc.) and external teams (suppliers, design partners, contract manufacturers, etc.).
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering from an accredited college/university
- Typically, 6 years of experience in R&D, NPI or Test Engineering.
- Good knowledge in basic electronic (DMM, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer and etc.), mechanical (positional, cyclic, temperature, humidity, shock, vibration, altitude, etc.) testing methodology.
- Good knowledge of C/C++/C# programming. Experience programming in Visual Studio .NET environment is an advantage.
- Experience with design/ testing of automated equipment, robotics and other instrumentation is added advantage.
- Good organization, planning, interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills coupled with a detailed approach to root cause failure analysis
- Able to adapt well in a dynamic working environment, eager to learn new knowledge and able to work independently.
