Your Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of various industrial communication protocols and automation SCADA software of AVEVA – InTouch HMI
The candidate needs to be self-driven and have experiences working with processes, such as Scrum / Agile, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) which is an added advantage.
Ensure quality and timely deliverables, collaborating and coordinating with all concerned teams and organizations, both internal and external, as per the projects and products plans
As an HMI & SCADA R&D Engineer, some of the key responsibilities include, but not limited to
-
Design and develop Human Machine Interface (HMI) solutions for HVDC Control and Protection Systems using AVEVA – InTouch HMI application

Create and validate HMI configuration and components, visualization of plant items, operating states, and parameters on the HMI screens using AVEVA – InTouch HMI application

Preparing test environment in lab/virtual to perform test cases related to product enhancement

Preparation and execution of test cases related to product enhancement

Documentation to capture the test results, functional process related to product support/enhancement

Your Background:
-
Bachelor’s or master's degree in electrical / Electronic Engineering with 3-8 years of practical experience in Substation Automation

More than 4 to 8 years of proven experience in SCADA /HMI
-
SCADA and AVEVA – InTouch HMI application knowledge
-
IT-Infrastructure with knowledge on routers, firewalls, Switches, Servers and workstations
-
Exposure to Cyber Security, Backup/ Image handling on servers and workstations and patch management
-
Database Management/SQL knowledge will be added advantage
-
Hands-on experience in industrial protocols such as IEC61850, IEC 104, IEC101, Modbus, DNP3 will be added advantage

Experience in Commissioning of SCADA systems will be added advantage

Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
