Job Purpose
The Revenue Cycle Analyst supports the development and execution of business intelligence and analytics initiatives that optimize revenue cycle operations and enhance financial performance. This role is responsible for transforming complex healthcare and financial data into actionable insights that drive operational improvements, revenue integrity, and strategic decision-making. The position collaborates closely with revenue cycle leadership, IT, and cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, improve performance metrics, and support scalable revenue cycle processes aligned with ROMTech’s growth and Clinician guided at-home rehab delivery model.
Key Responsibilities
Essential Duties

Assist in the development and execution of business intelligence strategies supporting revenue cycle operations

Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools to monitor revenue cycle performance

Collaborate with revenue cycle leadership to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics

Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and revenue optimization opportunities

Support predictive modeling and advanced analytics efforts to forecast revenue and identify risk areas

Ensure data integrity and accuracy through adherence to data governance best practices

Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership to drive decision-making

Partner with IT and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and usability of data systems

Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in revenue cycle and business intelligence

Support the implementation of revenue cycle improvement initiatives and performance optimization strategies

Maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory, payer, and data privacy requirements

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance revenue cycle outcomes

Qualifications
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Skills and Abilities
Required:

Strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes including billing, coding, collections, and reimbursement

Understanding of payer requirements including Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid

Ability to interpret EOBs, remittance advice, and insurance communications

Experience with revenue cycle dashboards, reporting tools, and analytics platforms

Knowledge of CMS 1500 and UB-04 billing forms, claims processes, and charge structures

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally

High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information
