The RBS Leader will drive continuous improvement across the organization, mentor teams in methodologies like Six Sigma, and collaborate with leadership to achieve business goals.
【Job Responsibilities】
1. Continuous Improvement and Efficient Problem-solving
1) Support the organization in achieving SQDCG and financial objectives, and drive continuous improvement by effectively applying RBS system tools and methodologies.
2) Collaborate with the leadership team and partners to understand the company’s current business and financial goals, formulate blueprints and implementation plans for the company’s future operational/growth needs, and deliver on the set targets.
3) Provide expertise across the organization by partnering with functional departments, business units and plant leaders to assess current processes, identify process/performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
4) Manage a robust RBS system review process to select, scope and prioritize improvement initiatives (e.g., policy implementation, CI roadmap, Kaizens, projects and continuous improvement talents) for goal attainment.
5) Possess the ability to identify, diagnose and resolve the most complex business problems using fact-based, collaborative and structured approaches.
6) Guide, coach and train plant/functional team members on continuous improvement methodologies based on professional expertise.
7) Solve problems with a positive mindset amid challenges to enable the team to address issues efficiently.
8) Skillfully and experientially break down strategic visions into actionable strategies and tactics.
2. Influential Leadership
1) Act as a key resource and mentor to guide process improvement and cross-business deployment of the RBS system.
2) Lead and exemplify a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
3) Effectively engage, coach and communicate with all levels of the organization.
4) Motivate and engage the organization in making progress on long-term improvement initiatives while meeting current business performance requirements. Balance strategy and tactics to help the organization grow and achieve its growth targets.
3. Business Partner Leadership
1) As a member of the leadership team, develop and communicate the company’s future vision. Gain buy-in across the organization to facilitate transformation and achieve future goals.
2) Analyze and evaluate business metrics (SQDCG and financials) and business processes to formulate effective improvement strategies.
3) Capable of accurately assessing key business metrics, trends and situations from the general manager’s perspective.
4. Talent Management
1) Identify, coach and attract talents within the business domain, support their professional development by leveraging RBS continuous improvement tools and methodologies, and enhance the operational performance of the business.
2) Optimize talent within the organizational structure and foster an environment that promotes individual and team growth.
3) Train, mentor and build continuous improvement capabilities and mindsets within the organization.
【Job Requirements】
1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related disciplines; Master's degree or above is preferred.
2. 5–10 years of working experience in lean improvement management.
3. Proficient in Black Belt / Six Sigma (or equivalent professional knowledge).
4. Strong capabilities in problem-solving, project execution and cross-departmental communication; Excellent leadership skills.
5. Fluent in English listening, speaking, reading and writing.
