Rating Data Specialist II

About the Role

Rating Data Specialist will be responsible for loading data into various Transportation Management Systems (TMS). They will provide guidance to customers and internal Uber Freight teams regarding data entered and templates used to import data. They will represent the team during onboarding and bidding projects. They will need to recognize potential risks and escalate them. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in computer skills.

What the Candidate Will Do

• Verify carrier is contracted and usable for rates in specific accounts
• Create rate schedules using Access Tools, send to carriers for review and signature where necessary. Complete any follow up communication as needed
• Work with Customer on rate template and rating documents
• Load rate data into all TMS and other systems; resolve any errors generated
• Load LTL discounts, minimum, TL rates and accessorial in all TMS systems
• Represent the team on onboarding and bidding projects by attending meeting, providing update to onboarding team and bid team, provide information as necessary, and escalate known limitations and risk to management
• Providing continued rate support to employee and customers
• Communicate and provide guidance (training) to customers (Internal and External) regarding carrier rates, accessorial and using the Uber Freight system. Research documented discrepancies
• Run Access queries or BI reports as needed
• Help develop needed reports and lean processes
• Recognize when terms, processes or other factors present a risk and escalate through appropriate channels

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 2-3 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications

• BA or BS in Business Administration or related field
• 2 to 4 years transportation, office or accounting experience is preferred
• Proficient computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge and Utilization of TMS
