Job Description:
Main Tasks
- Prepare and implement trial protocols, including:
- Trial protocol: Trial design, Stocking, Feeding regimes, Sampling procedures.
- Tanks and system set up and preparation
- Manage daily operations of the indoor RAS facility, including:
- Water quality monitoring and control
- System operation and maintenance
- Fish and shrimp health monitoring
- Execute Aqua feeds and challenge trials according to approved experimental protocols
- Ensure strict adherence to biosecurity procedures and protocols
- Conduct daily data collection, recording and monitoring
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve SOPs for RAS operation and trial execution
- Ensure data accuracy, traceability and compliance with SOPs
- Support statistical data preparation, analysis, and reporting for R&D purposes
- Troubleshoot system issues and implement corrective actions to ensure stability and minimize variation between replicates
- Facility & Equipment Responsibilities.
- Operate and maintain key RAS components, including: Biofilters, Drum filters, UV systems, Pumps and aeration systems, Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of equipment.
