Skills Required
- Proven experience as a Reliability/Safety/RAMS Engineer on real, deployed systems
- Strong experience developing FMEA / FMECA and system-level risk modelling
- Hands-on failure investigation experience in test, flight, launch, or in-service environments
- Experience applying structured problem-solving methods (fault trees, fishbone diagrams, root cause analysis)
- Background in aerospace, defence, or other highly complex system environments
- Experience in quality, reliability, test, certification, V&V, or design engineering roles
- Ability to define and drive system failure tolerance and redundancy strategies
- Strong systems thinking and ability to influence cross-disciplinary design decisions
- Comfortable operating with incomplete data, ambiguity, and tight constraints
- Track record of balancing reliability, complexity, cost, and performance trade-offs
- Ownership of RAMS frameworks and ability to establish best-in-class practices for mission-critical systems
