The RAM (Real Time Defect Analysis & Metrology) Manufacturing Engineering (ME) role demonstrates advanced area knowledge to optimize area performance and reduce cycle time. The ME collaborates with shift operations and engineering teams to expedite product movement and react to process issues that could impact quality. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities

  • Leads efforts with shift team to sustain and improve execution to Key Performance Indicators (Area critical metrics)
  • Leads meetings to coordinate project activities, track actions, and communicate progress to partners
  • Lead innovation efforts by analyzing manual business processes and working to develop automated solutions using Smart Manufacturing tools (CAF, UiPath, AMI and ARM)
  • Applies manufacturing science concepts to analyze workstation performance concerns
  • Engages in blocked WIP Pareto reduction activities

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Relevant BS degree required
  • Basic understanding of the Fab process areas including area processing equipment
  • Experience or knowledge in one or more scripting, programming and visualization tools (i.e. Python, Java, Tableau, Matlab, Microsoft Suite)
  • Strong understanding of SPC principles
  • Intermediate data extraction, analysis, and reporting skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced understanding of area process and equipment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to efficiently organize tasks and projects
  • Strong partnering and partnership skills
  • Shown ability to communicate and present effectively
  • Hands-on experience in the field of data analytics, preferably with experience querying databases
