This is a technical position requiring education in the field of radiology technology. Individual is responsible for performing radiographic examinations, assisting radiologists and other physicians during fluoroscopic studies, in addition to performing exams in the operating room and the emergency room.
Preferred QualificationsEducation: Graduate of School of Radiological Technology
Experience: Graduate from an approved two-year radiology program
Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: American Registry of Radiology
Technology and BLS required.
Equipment/Tools/Work Aids: Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment, computers, image processing equipment.
Specialized Skills: Proficiency in radiological technology.
Physical Requirements: Job requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and pushing in excess of twenty-five pounds.
Skills Required
- Graduate of an approved radiologic technology program
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency in radiological technology and imaging procedures
- Experience performing fluoroscopic, OR, and ER imaging exams
- Ability to operate radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment and image processing systems
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift/push over 25 pounds
