Up to a $10,000 Sign-on Bonus Available
- Practices infection control standards and utilizes approved personal protective equipment (PPE) and disinfectant agents.
- Maintains a properly stocked, organized, and clean room.
- Completes required documentation for Radiologist support and performs clerical duties, including answering telephones, completing patient records, filing, and scheduling.
- Performs direct patient care duties within the technologist’s scope of practice, including monitoring patient condition and ensuring patient comfort, safety, and privacy.
- Obtains and documents patient history and explain procedures.
- Performs radiology duties in all departments and environments, including OR and Fluoroscopy.
- Performs all imaging exams using established protocols and operates all equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, monitors, and medical equipment.
- Uses facility policy for proper identification of patients prior to performing exams and educates patients concerning the exam.
- Screens patients properly for any contrast allergies and for childbearing age, minimizing radiation exposure to patients, families, and co-workers.
- Positions patients and equipment and selects technical factors to produce radiographic images meeting Radiologist’s standards in a safe, timely manner.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills to perform scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to analyze and assess data, techniques, methodology, equipment operation, and quality control to ensure that information is obtained and presented accurately [Required]

- Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals [Required]
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry [Required]
- Able to fully use all Radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment [Required]
- Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required]
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]
