Put Your Radiology Skills to Work in Orthopedic Care

No Nights | No Weekends

Join OrthoVirginia as a Radiologic Technologist and play an important role in helping our providers diagnose and treat orthopedic injuries and conditions.

In this full-time role at our Stone Springs location, you'll perform diagnostic X-rays in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic environment while working closely with physicians, clinical team members, and patients. You'll have the opportunity to see a variety of orthopedic cases and make a direct impact on the patient experience every day.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–4:15 PM
Contrast: No contrast administration required
Daily Volume: Approximately 20–100 cases depending on provider volume

What You'll Do

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic X-rays while following established imaging protocols and safety standards.

  • Prepare and position patients for radiographic procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the exam.

  • Produce accurate, quality images within an appropriate timeframe to support provider diagnosis and treatment.

  • Review images for technical quality, positioning, and correct anatomical orientation.

  • Accurately process and document digital images with the correct patient information.

  • Prepare and maintain examination rooms for radiographic procedures.

  • Follow radiation safety practices to protect patients, team members, and yourself from unnecessary exposure.

  • Ensure radiographic equipment is maintained in safe working condition and meets applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with providers and clinical team members to support efficient patient flow and an exceptional patient experience.

  • Assist with additional clinical or operational needs as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R) or registry eligible, as applicable.

  • Current Virginia Radiologic Technologist license, or ability to obtain prior to start date.

  • Current BLS/CPR certification preferred.

  • Previous radiologic technologist experience preferred; orthopedic or outpatient imaging experience is a plus.

  • New graduates who meet applicable certification and licensure requirements are encouraged to apply.

Compensation Range for this position:

$35.27 - $52.91

Compensation for this role will be based on several factors, including the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, geography/market, and internal equity considerations.

Skills Required
