Pay Range

$25.50 – $37.50 per hour 

The compensation range listed above represents the good-faith range Cary Medical Center anticipates relying upon when making an offer for this position. Starting pay is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, certifications, internal equity, and market conditions.

 Job Summary:


Cary Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our dedicated imaging team. In this role, you will perform Diagnostic Radiology, Fluoroscopy, and Bone Density procedures for both inpatients and outpatients, with a focus on high-quality outcomes, exceptional patient care, and radiation safety.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Completes diagnostic radiology, fluoroscopy and bone density procedures following departmental protocols
  • Confidently explains diagnostic radiology, fluoroscopy and bone density procedures to customers
  •  Accurately and consistently completes required Diagnostic Radiology, Fluoroscopy and Bone Density paperwork 
  •  Assists the Front Office staff in insuring orders for Diagnostic Radiology, Fluoroscopy and Bone Density procedures are appropriate
  •  Maintains current standards of practice through review of current literature, including information on best practice
  •  Performs daily, monthly, quarterly quality control as appropriate
  • Communicates examination outcomes to Radiologists appropriately
  • Oversight of inventory (medical supplies and other supplies)
  • Participates in quality management oversight and data acquisition
  •  Bring issues and potential solutions to the attention of the Manager of Imaging Services 
  •  Demonstrates outstanding professional behaviors
  •  Maintains processor operation 
  •  Completes assigned Diagnostic Radiology duties per room assignment or evening/night tech duties
  •  Attends departmental meetings with the Manager of Imaging Services and the Medical Director of Imaging Services as requested.
  •  Complies with local, state, and federal laws and regulations. 

Requirements

Licenses and Education: 

  • State of Maine Licensed Radiology Technologist

Availability:

  • Sunday through Saturday per shift assigned. Call required on a rotating basis.
