HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will, under the direction of the radiologist, provides X-ray services to patient, closely follows physician's instructions, appropriately positions patients, prepares and operates equipment, and accurately records the images requested.

o Compensation: Base pay (based on years of experience) plus weekend differential

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Associates degree is required or must have completed an accredited radiology technology program.

Experience Qualifications

  • 1 year experience is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

  • WI: Licensed Radiographer issued by the WI Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) is required.
  • IL: Accreditation (or Temporary Accreditation) in Medical Radiation Technology issued by the IL Department of Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) is required.
  • Certification/registration or registry-eligible as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required. Certification/registration must be obtained within 12 months.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Skills Required

  • Bachelors or Associates degree or accredited radiology technology program
  • 1 year experience preferred
  • Licensed Radiographer by WI Department of Safety and Professional Services
  • Accreditation in Medical Radiation Technology by IL Department of Emergency Management Agency
  • Certification as Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography by ARRT
  • Basic Life Support certification
