Leads a cross-functional team and provides in-depth data insights for complex business problems which can be approached with advanced analytics techniques to collect, explore, and extract insights from structure and unstructured data to create practical solutions. The senior data analyst/business intelligence developer assists with providing data modeling, mining, pattern analysis and data visualization while managing the design, development and generation of both standard and ad-hoc reports. Generate reports for internal and external customers for business performance monitoring and business decision making. Must be able to accurately review requests and document user requirements. Demonstrate comprehensive SQL skills with extensive experience in developing business intelligence and data analytic solutions. Design, develop, and troubleshoot reports and data extracts which implement complex programming processes. Design, implement and educate users on self-service analytics. Data management duties include data engineering, data schemas, data architecture, data quality, data security, data governance, data extraction and loading and transforming from multiple resources. Uses predictive modeling, statistics and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore and extract insights from structure and unstructured data. Develops algorithms to apply mathematics to data, perform large-scale experimentation and build data driven apps to translate data into intelligence, solve a variety of business problems and enable business strategy. 5 or more years of experience with SQL and reporting using data analysis and business intelligence tools and processes. 3 or more years of experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Crystal Reports, etc. Excellent human relations skills to interact with a variety of personnel. Strong communication and organizational skills are required. Must possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize issues appropriately. Experience in healthcare data analysis is required. Experience with data mart and data warehouse design. Extensive experience investigating, pinpointing and resolving issues and proposing and executing strategies to solve problems.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Data/Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Data Science) along with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience; Or, associate's degree and 8 years of relevant experience. 

Requires extensive SQL experience and advanced proficiency in creating reports using a variety of applications. 

Master's degree in relevant discipline preferred. 

Previous experience working in healthcare industry required. 

Exposure to managing both custom developed and vendor-supplied applications is required. 

Evidence of ability to take initiative, to proactively start tasks and assignments, and ability to work independently as well as lead collaborative teams or projects.

Background knowledge of Radiology clinical practice operations, radiology systems and objectives for the department is highly desirable, and a combined knowledge of healthcare (radiology preferred) operations and information technology is required. 

Experience using agentic AI coding tools to support analytics, automation, and application development is preferred.

Experience with Epic or another EHR reporting platform is also required. Epic (e.g. Cogito, Clarity, or Caboodle) or other equivalent EHR or Data Analytics Certification is required within 12 months of job acceptance.
