PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Multi-modality position provides full technical/clinical services in Medical Imaging Services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- American Registry Radiological Technologist Registration (ARRT)(RT) and one of more of the following:
- ARRT - Mammography
- ARRT - CT (Computed Tomography) or documented 2+ years of experience.
- ARRT/ARDMS - Sonographer or documented 2+ years of experience in Ultrasound scanning. Up to three (3) registrations will be considered separately.
- ARRT - Bone Densitometry or documented 2+ years of experience.
- ARRT/ARMRIT - MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) or documented 2+ years of experience.
- Documented current CPR Certification is required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed primarily at Kanakanak Hospital in the Medical aging Department with occasional visits to village clinics in small, unpressurized aircraft.
- The employee may have exposure to communicable diseases, initiating the use of universal precautions for self and patient safety.
- The employee may be occasionally subject to verbal abuse, threats, and physical violence from angry, hostile, or disgruntled patients and or family members requiring intervention by security personnel.
