Welcome to Sentara's new graduate Radiography fast-track application. This process is for new graduates seeking roles at any Sentara Health Imaging location or as Radiology Assistants while completing an accredited program (minimum two semesters required). LSRT-ARRT graduates are also invited to apply for positions at Velocity Urgent Care centers.
Requirements
- Sentara considers you a new graduate if you are about to graduate or have graduated and have less than one year of practice
- Qualified students will be attending, graduating or will have graduated from an accredited Radiography/Medical Physics/Imaging etc. program.
- Registry eligible graduate in lieu of American Board of Radiology (ABR) / American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) / American College of Radiology (ACR) / American Society of Radiologic Technologist (ASRT) / Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) / Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) etc.

Job Summary
Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include: positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operation of radiation producing equipment, operation of the electronic radiology systems and preparation of patient room/equipment/medications.
Will consider registry eligible graduates, must be registered within 90 days of hire. Grandfathered staff at time of merger with military radiologic technologist training will be accepted in lieu of ARRT registry.
Qualifications:
TS - Trade School Graduate: Radiologic Technology (Required)ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) - Certifications - Other/National, Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQIBasic experience of simple office / operational systems, Management
