Under the direction of a Radiologist with minimal supervision, performs radiographic procedures. Responsible for designated areas or procedures; performs procedures requiring independent judgment.

Type of Opportunity: Full time FTE: 0.90 Job Exempt: No Work Shift: 12 Hour Nights (United States of America)

Responsibilities:

  • Performs imaging procedures, operating appropriate equipment.
  • Processes imaging media, trouble shoots and corrects problems.
  • Performs basic nursing care.
  • Performs departmental clerical duties.
  • Ensures patient's rights are protected.
  • Participates in Performance Improvement.
  • Assists with orientation of new personnel; supervises students during their clinical rotation.
  • Promotes a safe environment.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required, Associates Degree preferred.
  • NM Radiography Technologist (RRT) License or Temporary license required.
  • ARRT R.T.(R) certification preferred at time of hire.
  • Employee will have a period of 1 year to obtain ARRT certification.
