RAD TECH I - TWO 12HOUR SHIFTS EVERY OTHER WEEKEND * Safety Sensitive Job
Performs quality diagnostic services by following established procedures and physician’s orders to provide quality diagnostic data for interpretation by the radiologist. Under the general direction of the Director of Radiology, responsible for 1 shift, 40 hours/week, as well as the rotation of shifts as necessary including night call, weekend shifts, and holiday duty as required by SMCRMC. Performs related responsibilities as required or directed.
Requirements
Enrolled in a certification program that is an AMA approved in Radiological Technology Program or working prior to 1987 in radiology under the ARRT grand-father clause.
Knowledge of the department equipment and procedures as normally acquired through 1 Year-on-the-job training in the department of Radiology.
Must be in training in an approved Radiological Technology Program.
Skills Required
- Enrollment in an AMA-approved Radiological Technology Program
- Must be in training in an approved Radiological Technology Program
- One year of on-the-job training in the Radiology department or equivalent knowledge of department equipment and procedures
- Alternatively, qualifying radiology work experience before 1987 under the ARRT grandfather clause
