The Graduate Programme | Mō te tūranga
The Rabobank Country Banking Graduate Programme offers hands-on banking experiences across two nine-month rotations throughout New Zealand. You'll be supported by workshops, projects and a dedicated buddy who started as a graduate. Plus, you'll have ongoing support from mentors and coaches throughout the organisation.
You will work in various teams within Country Banking New Zealand located around the country; anywhere from historic Invercargill to sunny Whangārei.

To be eligible for the programme you should have completed a tertiary qualification in the last 3 years or be working to completion prior to commencement of the programme in February 2027.
Whether you’re in your final year or have recently finished your studies, this programme is designed to support your transition from university to the workplace.
You’ll be an energetic self-starter, determined, eager to learn and be challenged within a diverse agribusiness banking environment. We are looking for individuals who are willing to work in locations all around NZ, as you will move between these throughout your programme.

Key Dates
Wednesday 20th May: Applications close
Monday 25th May – Friday 29 May: Longlisted candidates will receive an online assessment to complete.
W/C Monday 3rd of June: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an in-person assessment centre.
Thursday 9th July: In-person Assessment Centre will be held in Wellington. Rabobank will assist with travel arrangements. To be considered for the 2027 graduate intake, attendance at the Assessment Centre is mandatory.
W/C Monday 13th July: Reference checks will be completed for successful applicants
