Major accountabilities:
- Supervise the day to day operations, performance and development of a small team of FRA Specialists.
- Collaborates in ensuring the integrity, viability, and interoperability of financial reporting processes and systems.
- Ensures that different deadlines for financial reporting, controls and related procedures are met.
- Provide financial accounting services and data in a timely and accurate manner, including fixed assets, cash activities and divestment activities; ensures appropriate information is provided to relevant individuals and external interested parties.
- Support internal and external audit and reporting processes and support compliance for various tax related reports (i.e.: VAT, corporate tax, employee tax).
- Supervise the development and maintenance of current reporting systems and tools (SAP, SURF, SPMR).
- Prepares on demand ‘accounting / management’ information and quality financial analysis in order to support global and organization’s requirements including Accounting Position Papers and Accounting Position Memos.
Key performance indicators:
- Internal customer satisfaction with quality, appropriateness, and timeliness of financial analyses provided -Customer satisfaction of service delivery and process specific KPIs in accordance with agreed SLAs
Minimum Requirements:
Work Experience:
- Strong IFRS accounting background.
- Experience in financial reporting under IFRS
- Having worked for a listed company is a plus
