This Position reports to:
R&D Team LeadYour role and responsibilities:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ABB’s success with technology, software, product, and system development. Each day, you will identify and implement innovative solutions to relevant problems. You will also showcase your expertise by providing ideas and by being able to work both independently and as a part of a Research & Development (R&D) team.

This role is contributing to the Motion Business Drive Products Division in Bangalore, India
You will be mainly accountable for:
Identifying testing needs, executing test and driving the implementation of product and system test automation
Participating in framing test strategy, selecting right tools, frameworks and executing automation of product testing in line with standard practices
Being responsible for the test infrastructure, including virtual and physical test environment Searching for opportunities to improve test quality by identifying improvements and sharing of best practices
Ability to write strong test cases by being creative and exploring challenging test scenarios
Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business
Qualifications for the role:
BE or B.Tech in Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics & Telecommunication engineering
Minimum 3 to 7 years of experience in test automation and testing industrial automation software
Good knowledge in drive engineering and testing
Knowledge in programming, according to IEC 61131-3, Python and CODESYS
Knowledge on manual and automation testing concepts, test automation tools and techniques Certification in ISTQB foundation
level would be added advantageHaving basic understanding on Azure DevOps, Jenkins, CI/ CD process and C# language
Should have excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work both in team and independently
