The opportunity:
To ensure customer and factory satisfaction through effective project management skills. Developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports, conducting risk analysis and monitoring the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets. Providing technical and analytical guidance to the project team

How you'll make an impact:

  • You will lead and manage DTR Liquid technology improvement and cost-out development projects. Coordinate work of multi-location and cross-functional project team/s. Motivate and monitor internal and/or external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones.
  • You will establish close relationships with Bac Ninh facility and be an integral part of Business development activities within location. You will coordinate and navigate successful execution of R&D projects between local, regional and global stakeholders.
  • You will suggest or coordinate definition of scope of work, cost/budget, resources required, time schedule, and detailed work allocation for activities.
  • You will organize, monitor, and control activities to ensure achievement of planned stage-gates.
  • You will track project cost and financials and report deviations.
  • You will ensure project activities follow sound methodology and execution practices in accordance with standard Hitachi Energy internal directives and procedures.
  • You will Identify, contain, and reduce risk together with the R&D Distribution Liquid technology team members.
  • You will ensure appropriate handling of change requests.
  • You will effectively communicate appropriate information to stakeholders in a timely manner to achieve desired understanding and support.
  • You will ensure understanding of customer value.
  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

  • You hold background of International Business Management, Engineering degree or Industrial Management. 
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in project management, either for R&D projects or other types.
  • Specialized knowledge of Transformers and/or electrical equipment is advantageous and demonstrates negotiation skills in interaction with internal and external customers. Leadership skills to manage customers and other departments by influence and must be self-motivated with a high level of creativity and organization.
  • Familiar and have practical experience with MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint. Basic knowledge of SAP, PS Module, and MS Projects is a plus with good problem-solving skills, conflict resolution skills. Experience in dealing with the cultural diversity of a global business environment is a plus and ability to read technical drawings and documentation.
  • Be a real organizational talent, have an analytical attitude, have good communication skills commercial insight, and negotiation skills.
