Your role and responsibilities
Responsible for electronic and driven code development of building automation system and products.
The work model for the role is: onsite
This role is contributing to the Smart Building division in China.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Developing and redesigning electronic hardware (for example, building automation products, thermostat, smart sensor, actuator, HVAC controller, IoT access devices, Gateway, etc.) according to product manager’s requirements. Contributing to technology/product development by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative electronic design solution.
- Designing schematic and PCB layout for electronic product, drawings, and verification tests. Defining product specification and verification test scheme according to relevant products requirements and standards.
- Collaborating with testing team to perform R&D verification test, Solving the technical related problem from production and market, and writing the related technical documentations.
- Collaborate with the device engineering team to conduct product production verification tests, resolve technical issues encountered during the production process, and write the relevant technical documentation.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor degree or above, major in IoT, electronic or automatic technology related professional
- Bachelor's degree or above, with more than 5 years of experience in electronic hardware development, in fields such as power electronics, electrical engineering, automation, computer science, or software engineering.
- Proficient in the development of digital and analog circuits, with experience in MCU/embedded system development. Preference with experience in the development of electrical/electronic products in the field of building automation or intelligent/IoT products.
- Capable of using EDA tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence, and PADs to design schematics and PCB layouts, and able to independently adjust and test hardware. Familiar with CE certification and other international standard certification specifications, with corresponding design rectification experience;
- Familiar with product EMC design and safety specifications and understands EMC and safety testing requirements and standards. Familiar with the production and manufacturing process of electronic products, with strong communication and adaptability skills, able to coordinate and resolve issues in the product production process and with clients.
- Ability to communicate in English, both written and oral. Have strong learning capabilities and team spirit, and can maintain a positive work attitude under pressure. Ability to communicate in English, both written and oral.
- Good communication and organizational skills. Highly responsible, self-motivated and autonomous at work. A very strong learning ability and pragmatic spirit. Has a positive progressive attitude under pressure to work.
