Our mission is to empower independent supply stores with best-in-class technology. Think of your local hardware store or mom-and-pop nursery—these are our clients. From paint to lumber to flooring, over 200,000 such stores across the country sell over $1T of building materials annually using outdated, on-premises systems. We’re aiming to help them modernize so that they can continue to thrive.
Backed by leading investors including Battery, Bessemer and CRV, we've raised $48M across four rounds and are growing quickly: We're live in over 500 stores across the USA, Canada, and the Caribbean, and integrated with over 20 industry partners. Our team is made up of builders, sellers, and industry veterans with a shared goal: to bring modern technology to an overlooked industry.
About the role 💼We're hiring a recruiter to own full-cycle hiring for our R&D teams: Engineering, Data Science, and Product. You'll run searches end to end, from the first intake conversation through the close, and help us build a hiring motion that keeps pace with a company growing this fast. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with our Head of Talent and partner directly with our CTO and Head of Data Science, with plenty of room to make the role your own.
What you'll do 🗒️Own full-cycle R&D searches. Engineering, Data Science, and Product roles are yours from intake to signed offer: sourcing, screening, scheduling, closing, and everything in between.
Find people who aren't looking. You'll build creative sourcing strategies and genuine pipelines of technical talent, not just work the inbound queue.
Be a true partner to our R&D leaders. Sharp intake, quick feedback, and a shared sense of the bar, working closely with our CTO and Head of Data Science.
Give candidates an experience they remember. Fast, warm, and honest at every step. Candidates should walk away impressed by Rundoo even when the answer is no.
Make the machine better as you go. Keep our pipelines clean in Ashby, use the data to spot what's working, and turn good instincts into repeatable playbooks.
Who you are ☑️You don't need to check every box. If a lot of this sounds like you, we'd love to talk.
You've spent 2 to 4 years recruiting, agency or in-house, with real time spent on technical roles (engineering, data, or product).
You've run searches end to end, or you're ready to: sourcing, screening, coordinating, and closing, not just one slice of the funnel.
You give candidates an experience they remember, and you keep your word on the small things (follow-ups, timelines, feedback).
You're organized enough to run several searches at once without letting anything slip.
You take real ownership and like figuring things out without a lot of process to lean on.
You're curious about how things get built, and comfortable learning enough about our stack and products to talk credibly with candidates.
You've recruited in-house at an early-stage, venture-backed startup.
You've closed passive candidates you sourced yourself.
You've partnered with engineering leaders or calibrated on technical talent.
You've used Ashby or a similar ATS.
