We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing research and development projects from conception to completion. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership abilities to drive innovation and achieve project goals within established timelines and budgets.

• Develop and implement project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
• Lead cross-functional teams of researchers, engineers, and other stakeholders to execute projects effectively and efficiently.
• Coordinate and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to ensure project milestones are met.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on project status, resolve issues, and solicit feedback.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages idea generation and knowledge sharing among team members.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate project outcomes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous process optimization.

Qualifications we're looking for. 

• Experience: 
  • 3+ years of experience in project management or related field. 
  • Proven experience managing research and development projects in a fast-paced environment - for hardware and software projects.
  • Agile environment and project management experience.
• Skills: 
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, manage resources, and mitigate risks.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.(JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet , Microsoft Project or similar)
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Abilities: 
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards relevant to research and development activities.
  • Ability to manage time and organize tasks to prioritize, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and new challenges.
• Education: 
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, project management or business-related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing and Supplier quality
• Experience working with vendors and external partners
• PMP certification, CAPM, Agile/Scrum certification
