Job Summary & Responsibilities
As a PCB Layout Design Engineer you will be part of the hardware development department and responsible for schematic entry and layout design of complex PCBs. This includes the following tasks:
- Ensure schematic designs comply with internal standards and applicable regulations.
- Design and optimize PCB layouts considering signal integrity, power integrity, EMC, thermal, and manufacturing requirements.
- Support design reviews and implement feedback and engineering changes.
- Provide PCB placement and feasibility studies.
- Run simulations.
- Rollout and support the solutions to PCB manufacturing and assembly houses.
- Technician or Bachelor’s in electronics/electrical engineering or equivalent.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in PCB schematic entry and layout design with Mentor or equivalent.
- Familiar with analog layout techniques (e.g. shielding, low noise)
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Structured and independent working style.
- Business fluent German and fluent English communication skills.
Skills Required
- Technician or Bachelor's in electronics/electrical engineering or equivalent
- At least 2-3 years of experience in PCB schematic entry and layout design with Mentor or equivalent
- Familiar with analog layout techniques (e.g. shielding, low noise)
- Good teamwork and communication skills
