• Responsible for mechanical design and optimization (Concept to implementation).
• Lead electro-mechanical design and development of enclosures, power cabinets, racks, interfaces etc.
• Develop sheet metal structures, welded assemblies, bolted constructions, equipment racks, and enclosure architectures.
• Perform engineering calculations related to thermal performance, structural integrity, cable management, in-sulation coordination, and vibration requirements.
• Define FEM analysis requirements like thermal and structural analysis (CFD, Vibration, seismic etc.,)
• Test / Verify the final product as per international codes at reputed test labs for IP, IK, vibration, drop test, etc., and analyse the results.
• Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), Design-to-Cost, DFMEA, and risk mitiga-tion activities.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Support prototype development, validation, testing, certification, and product qualification activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, controls, manufacturing, sourcing, testing, and service functions to ensure successful product delivery.
• Drive technical reviews, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous product improvements.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Skills Required
