Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Manager for our Research & Development (R&D) team. The ideal candidate will oversee the timely completion of projects with a focus on quality, mentor a dynamic team, and coordinate effectively across departments. This role demands strong technical expertise, leadership, and strategic thinking in the field of industrial research.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
    • Ensure the timely and high-quality completion of R&D projects.
    • Plan, execute, and monitor project milestones to meet deadlines.
Team Leadership:
    • Mentor and manage the R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to achieve their individual and collective goals.
Interdepartmental Coordination:
    • Facilitate seamless coordination between different departments to ensure project alignment and smooth operations.
    • Act as a bridge between R&D and other departments to achieve organizational goals.
Documentation and Data Analysis:
    • Maintain accurate records of R&D activities, including data analysis and project documentation.
    • Prepare detailed reports for internal reviews and presentations to senior management.
Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety (QEHS):
    • Implement and oversee QEHS systems, including Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) and Aspect Impact Analysis (AIA).
    • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations within the R&D lab.
Innovation and Intellectual Property:
    • Lead the process of research publications and patent filings to secure intellectual property.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new findings into ongoing research.
Qualifications:
  • Ph.D./M.Sc in Chemistry.(Inorganic)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience if Ph.d and Minimum 10 years of experience in case of M.sc an industrial research laboratory.
  • Strong managerial and leadership skills.
  • Analytical, logical, and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and presentation.
  • Proficiency in planning and time management to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Technical expertise in project handling and R&D processes.
  • Knowledge of QEHS systems, including HIRA and AIA.
  • Experience in documentation, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to drive innovation and manage the intellectual property process.
  • Proven track record of managing successful R&D projects and leading teams.

Skills Required

  • Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Inorganic Chemistry
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial research laboratory with a Ph.D.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in an industrial research laboratory with an M.Sc.
  • Strong managerial and leadership skills
  • Analytical, logical, and creative problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration and presentations
