Pharmathen offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit a R&D Lab Senior Officer to join our R&D team at our Metamorfosi premises.

As a R&D Lab Senior Officer, the ideal candidate will ensure the efficient, compliant, and uninterrupted operation of the laboratory by overseeing equipment maintenance, laboratory infrastructure, consumables, and operational support.


Requirements

What you will do:

More particularly:

  • Adheres to safety and housekeeping requirements
  • Coordinates the ordering and receipt of consumables (solvents, reagents, etc.)
  • Updates inventory records and organizes the warehouse of consumables (solvents, reagents, etc.)
  • Organizes waste recycling activities
  • Checks laboratory loggers and updates the respective databases
  • Coordinates equipment calibration and qualification activities (planning, monitoring, review, record keeping, etc.)
  • Maintains up-to-date SAP records for laboratory equipment and ensures the respective quality system records are properly maintained

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Minimum Technical diploma in a laboratory-related discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Chemical Laboratory Technology, or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years of experience in laboratory

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Excellent communication in English language (writing & speaking).
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good skills of MS Office
  • Experience with SAP will be considered an advantage
  • Basic technical skills in laboratory instrumentation will be considered an advantage
