Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated professional with strong proficiency in Python, to join our team as a SW Architect for Zuul Gating Solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the architecture, solution design, and end-to-end development of Zuul-based CI/CD gating systems across projects and teams. You should have hands-on experience with Ansible, Linux system administration, and scripting languages such as Bash. The role demands deep understanding and seamless integration of Zuul with tools like Gerrit, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and artifact repositories.

As a senior technical leader, you will mentor junior developers in areas such as Zuul architecture, job creation, pipeline design, and CI/CD best practices. You will be expected to actively resolve complex issues, contribute to the continuous improvement of the tool ecosystem, and drive innovation through the evaluation and implementation of new features within Zuul. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is crucial to ensure the gating architecture aligns with broader DevOps and business goals.

The candidate must possess excellent problem-solving abilities, a proactive mindset, and strong communication skills to thrive in a team-oriented environment. Experience with Git technologies and branching strategies is essential.

Qualifications

You Have :

  • Minimum 8 year of experience in R&D  and proficient in Python
  • Proficiency in Ansible, Linux administration, and scripting languages (e.g., Bash).
  • Hands-on exposure into SCM/CI methodologies, DevOps tools (Eg: Jenkins, Zuul, K8s etc)
  • Exposure to AI/ML algorithms.
  • Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts with exposure to Python-based machine learning or generative AI tools.
