DESCRIPTION
Advantest is a leading supplier of semiconductor test solutions. 93000 is one of the most successful SoC test systems comprising both state-of-the-art system hardware and software. The associated R&D labs are located in Germany and China.
The Shanghai lab is currently seeking experienced software development engineer to join this global R&D software team in Shanghai.
The candidates will be working on a huge, challenging & continuously evolving system, which is actually a complex computing & measuring eco-system. It starts from very low-level dedicated architecture, driver levels to operating system levels, and application development level UIs (both developing languages and GUIs).
We will provide you trainings and attractive development opportunities in the global teams. Meanwhile the candidates are expected to be fast learners, creative, energetic, and seeking excellence in system-level software. The candidate will also experience the open-culture and value inherited from Hewlett-Packard.
Preferred QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS
Musts
- MS Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related disciplines, with at least 3 years working experience in software development OR BS Computer Science with at least 5 years working experience developing software
- Strong command of Java/Eclipse and or C/C++
- Rich experience with modern software development methodologies such as OOA&OOD
- Proven track record of delivering successful software solutions as part of a high performing team
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Result oriented, positive attitude and a good team player
- Able to communicate in English, especially in technical environment
Desired:
- Familiarity with software development on LINUX or UNIX platform
- Experience with GUI software development
- Familiar with modern software development processes, such as Agile/Scrum, RUP, XP
- Proven experience of engagement in the whole software product development lifecycle
- Strong organizational skill to work with cross-functional teams in requirements analysis, architecture and high-level design
- Cross cultural / international experience
- Basic electronics knowledge or IC design/test knowledge
- Experience with semiconductor test systems and ATE industry
