About the Role:
Reporting to the Manager, Business Analytics, you will be accountable for delivering quality quotes with a defined strategy. Success will come from working with your Sales and Sales Development Group. Responsibility will also involve following up on opportunities to yield incremental revenue for Sourceability.
Main Responsibilities:
- Liaison between purchasing, supplier development, and sales to expand offerings to customers.
- Analyze customer inquiries and prepare accurate & timely quotations.
- Work with sales & purchasing on cost savings opportunities.
- Co-ordination of Global opportunities.
Job Content:
- Qualify all assigned RFQs with the sales team.
- Manage and co-ordinate the clean-up and upload of raw BOM ensuring data accuracy.
- Create overview of each opportunity
- Work with the Supplier Development Group & Purchasing teams to make sure quotes are completed within the set timeline.
- Review costs and prepare proposal ensuring that the quote maximizes profitability whilst delivering a competitive offer.
- Make sure all quotations comply with the company objectives & policies.
- Provide a detailed summary of the final quote proposal.
- Track & manage multiple quotations simultaneously.
- Maintain accurate records of all quotations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements.
Requirements:
- Good communication skills, both written & verbal
- Excellent Excel skills
- High attention to detail & accuracy
- Ability to work independently & as part of a team.
- Familiar with electronic component manufacturers and part numbers
