As a Quotation Support Apprentice, you’ll be a part of the Signify professional team in the UK being responsible for quotation and pricing governance. We work with everything from simple price requests to product tenders, as well as complex third-party agreements and the work you do will have a big impact on the customer experience. To be successful - accuracy, logical thinking and a customer-focused mindset must be in your DNA.

As an apprentice, you will be enrolled with a local College/University and given a day-release to complete your apprenticeship.

What you’ll do

As a Quotation Support Apprentice, you will be a trusted advisor for our customers and our sales organisation to create differentiated offers for innovative and meaningful solutions on a daily basis. You will be a part of a growing team that is the engine for growth for the professional team with a big focus on digitalisation, efficiency and personal development.

You will support the sales organisation by managing the bid/quote/pricing process in order to provide high-quality quotation submissions ensuring they are compliant, competitive and meet the company growth and profitability targets. Produce and deliver timely and accurate quotations and proposals. Learn and hold deep knowledge of our company products, systems and services.

  • Manage different types of quotation and price requests to create differentiated offers of varying complexity

  • Act as a liaison between customer, sales and internal functions

  • Build and maintain efficient and sustainable processes related to your day-to-day working

  • Take on local key user responsibilities for quote-related systems and processes

  • Manage requests for special products and solutions

  • Leverage / follow standard practices

  • Deliver on commitments

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) / Numeracy, as well as interpersonal skills

Your qualifications

  • Experienced using Microsoft Office packages (Excel, PowerPoint and Word). Training will also be provided

  • A fast learner, reliable and able to work to deadlines

  • An excellent & confident communicator

  • Satisfactory GCSE (English and Maths included) & A Level attainment

  • Resident in England and able to be based in the Guildford office

  • Between the age of 16 plus

  • You’re a team player but also able to work autonomously
